I received my Bachelor of Arts in Media and Communications Studies from the Catholic University of America in 2014. I am currently pursuing a Master's in Strategic Public Relations and a Graduate Certificate in Global Public Relations from the George Washington University with an anticipated completion date in the summer of 2018.
I recently started working at the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics as a Marketing Specialist. Here I manage and responsible for managing multiple marketing campaigns for the association.
From 2016-2017, I worked for Northern Virginia Community College (NOVA) as Marketing and Social Media Specialist but previously served on their Web Services and Digital Media team from 2010-2016. As NOVA's Social Media Specialist, I maintain and develop social media strategies and content for the college's social media pages which has a following of over 30,000 individuals.
In 2015, I worked as an intern for the Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts with the Web Communication Team assisting with the launch of their new website and occasionally assisting with social media efforts. My time at Wolf Trap can best be described as a "learning experience" since I learned to apply what I learned in school into the real world and further honed her skills as a Digital Media Specialist.
Later that year, I worked on the PopeIsHope campaign as a member of the Digital Street Team. My purpose was to share the Papal visit through visual storytelling on social media. In addition, this experience allowed me to learn how to interact with the media while being interviewed by EWTN and Elite Daily.
In my spare time, I run a freelance business focusing on design, photography, and editing work for a chance to work on my passions in the digital media world.
